EPP-630 Plasma Electrolytic Polishing Unit
Rated Power: 630 kW
The EPP-630 plasma electrolytic polishing unite is the most powerful and high-capacity model in the EPP series, engineered for heavy-duty industrial applications and large-scale production. It provides precise, uniform, and mirror-quality polishing of stainless steel and other conductive metals, even for massive and complex parts. The unite can process parts with a total surface area of up to 110 dm² per cycle, making it ideally suited for large tanks, machine housings, industrial reactors, pressure vessels, and oversized stainless steel components used in the chemical, energy, and food processing industries.
A complete polishing cycle, including loading and unloading, lasts 1–7 minutes, while achieving a mirror-like surface finish typically takes about 5 minutes.The Plasma Polishing process improves surface quality by 2-4 classes compared to the initial condition. The treated surface becomes bright and reflective, with burrs fully removed, sharp edges rounded, and weld seams cleaned.
This advanced polishing technology is environmentally friendly, as it uses a non-acidic, water-based solution of inorganic salts and requires no specialized wastewater treatment systems. The result is a clean, safe, and cost-efficient polishing process for demanding industrial applications.

Operating Conditions for EPP-630
The EPP-630 should be installed in a room with a minimum area of 40 m².
In addition, the room intended for polishing unit must be equipped with the following:
-
Cold water supply (temperature 5–20°C);
-
Compressed air line;
-
Drainage collector for electrolyte discharge;
-
exhaust ventilation rated for a minimum airflow of 4000 m³/h;
-
Metal or plastic rinsing tank for washing parts after the plasma polishing process to remove electrolyte residues;
-
Three-phase electrical network with voltage 415 V, frequency 50 Hz, and maximum power capacity of 630 kW.
The average power consumption during a 5-minute plasma polishing cycle is approximately 0.5 kWh per dm².
To select the appropriate Plasma Polishing unite with the required power, please provide the following information:
-
Dimensions of the parts to be processed (it is preferable to send us a drawing, sketch, or photographs of the parts).
-
Material from which the parts are made.
-
Desired result of the Plasma Electrolytic Polishing process — for example: mirror finish, edge rounding, burr removal, oxide/scale removal, weld seam cleaning, etc.
-
Quantity of parts to be polished per work shift, and the number of shifts per day.
