EPP-400 Plasma Electrolytic Polishing System
Rated Power: 400 kW
The EPP-400 Plasma Electrolytic Polishing system is a high-performance industrial unit engineered for large-scale and continuous production. It delivers exceptional mirror finishing and precise surface treatment of stainless steel and other conductive metals. Capable of processing parts with a total surface area of up to 70 dm² per cycle, this system is ideal for large components of energy and process equipment, heat exchangers, turbine blades, yacht fittings, stair and architectural elements, countertops, medical furniture, and stainless steel casings.
The complete polishing cycle, including loading and unloading, takes 1–7 minutes, with a mirror-like surface finish typically achieved in about 5 minutes. The Plasma Electrolytic Polishing process improves surface quality by 2–4 classes compared to the original state. The treated surface develops a uniform mirror reflection, with burrs completely removed, edges rounded, and weld seams perfectly cleaned.
This eco-friendly technology operates in a safe, non-acidic solution of inorganic salts, eliminating the need for specialized wastewater treatment systems and offering a clean, efficient, and sustainable production process.

Operating Conditions for EPP-400
The EPP-400 should be installed in a room with a minimum area of 40 m².
In addition, the room intended for polishing system must be equipped with the following:
-
Cold water supply (temperature 5–20°C);
-
Compressed air line;
-
Drainage collector for electrolyte discharge;
-
exhaust ventilation rated for a minimum airflow of 2500 m³/h;
-
Metal or plastic rinsing tank for washing parts after the plasma polishing process to remove electrolyte residues;
-
Three-phase electrical network with voltage 415 V, frequency 50 Hz, and maximum power capacity of 400 kW.
The average power consumption during a 5-minute plasma polishing cycle is approximately 0.5 kWh per dm².
To select the appropriate Plasma Polishing equipment with the required power, please provide the following information:
-
Dimensions of the parts to be processed (it is preferable to send us a drawing, sketch, or photographs of the parts).
-
Material from which the parts are made.
-
Desired result of the Plasma Electrolytic Polishing process — for example: mirror finish, edge rounding, burr removal, oxide/scale removal, weld seam cleaning, etc.
-
Quantity of parts to be polished per work shift, and the number of shifts per day.
