EPP-250 Electrolytic Plasma Polishing Machine
Rated Power: 250 kW
The EPP-250 Electrolytic Plasma Polishing machine is designed for industrial-scale production and large component processing, offering high precision and mirror-quality surface finishing of stainless steel and other metals.
The system is capable of polishing parts with a total surface area of up to 50 dm² per cycle, making it ideal for chemical and petrochemical equipment components, pipelines, pool and spa elements, interior structures, railings, automotive and motorcycle parts, grilles, towel warmers, and decorative stainless steel products.
The polishing cycle, including loading and unloading, takes 1–7 minutes, while achieving a mirror-like finish on stainless steel typically requires about 5 minutes.
The EPP process improves the surface quality by 2-4 classes compared to the initial condition. The treated surface acquires a bright mirror reflection, with burrs completely removed, edges rounded, and weld seams cleaned.
Material removal occurs at a rate of up to 3 microns per minute, ensuring precise surface refinement without altering the part’s geometry.
The process ensures removal of burrs and weld residues, producing a uniform reflective surface. The Electrolytic Plasma Polishing (EPP) method is eco-friendly, operating in a non-toxic, salt-based electrolyte solution that requires no special wastewater treatment facilities.

Operating Conditions for EPP-250
The EPP-250 electrolytic plasma polishing machine should be installed in a room with a minimum area of 20 m².
In addition, the room intended for polishing machine must be equipped with the following:
-
Cold water supply (temperature 5–20°C);
-
Compressed air line;
-
Drainage collector for electrolyte discharge;
-
exhaust ventilation rated for a minimum airflow of 1500 m³/h;
-
Metal or plastic rinsing tank for washing parts after the plasma polishing process to remove electrolyte residues;
-
Three-phase electrical network with voltage 415 V, frequency 50 Hz, and maximum power capacity of 250 kW.
The average power consumption during a 5-minute plasma polishing cycle is approximately 0.5 kWh per dm².
To select the appropriate Plasma Polishing equipment with the required power, please provide the following information:
-
Dimensions of the parts to be processed (it is preferable to send us a drawing, sketch, or photographs of the parts).
-
Material from which the parts are made.
-
Desired result of the Plasma Electrolytic Polishing process — for example: mirror finish, edge rounding, burr removal, oxide/scale removal, weld seam cleaning, etc.
-
Quantity of parts to be polished per work shift, and the number of shifts per day.
