EPP-25 Electrolytic Plasma Polishing Machine
Rated Power: 25 kW
The EPP-25 Electrolytic Plasma Polishing system is primarily used for research and precision laboratory applications, as it is designed for polishing small parts with a total surface area of up to 5 dm² per cycle.
This equipment ensures high-quality mirror polishing of products with complex geometries. The EPP-25 unit is intended for stationary indoor use under controlled conditions — temperature 30 ± 5 °C and relative humidity up to 80%.
The processing cycle ranges from 1 to 7 minutes, depending on the part and required surface quality. On average, achieving a mirror finish on stainless steel takes about 5 minutes.
During the Electrolytic Plasma Polishing process, sharp edges are rounded, burrs and welding residues are removed, and final surface finishing is performed. The surface quality improves by 2-4 classes compared to the original condition.
The process is environmentally safe, as it does not require any acid-based solutions or specialized wastewater treatment. The polishing solution is based on non-toxic inorganic salts, making the method clean, safe, and sustainable.

Operating Conditions for EPP-25
The EPP-25 equipment should preferably be installed on the ground or basement floor of the building, with a minimum total room area of 10 m².
The room intended for the equipment must be equipped with the following:
-
Cold water supply (hot water is not required);
-
Compressed air line;
-
Drainage system for removing washing and polishing residues (a common collector may be used);
-
Exhaust ventilation system;
-
Rinsing tank (metal or plastic) for washing parts after the EPP process to remove any remaining solution.
The average power consumption during a 5-minute polishing cycle is approximately 0.5 kWh per dm²
To select the appropriate Plasma Polishing equipment with the required power, please provide the following information:
-
Dimensions of the parts to be processed (it is preferable to send us a drawing, sketch, or photographs of the parts).
-
Material from which the parts are made.
-
Desired result of the Plasma Electrolytic Polishing process — for example: mirror finish, edge rounding, burr removal, oxide/scale removal, weld seam cleaning, etc.
-
Quantity of parts to be polished per work shift, and the number of shifts per day.
