EPP-16 Electrolytic Pulse Polishing Machine
Rated Power: 16 kW
Primarily used for laboratory and research applications due to its low power capacity. Suitable for polishing small parts with a total surface area of up to 3 dm² per cycle.
EPP-16 Electrolytic Pulse Polishing equipment ensures high-quality polishing of parts with complex geometries. The EPP-16 system is intended for stationary indoor operation at 30±5°C and relative humidity up to 80%.
The complete polishing cycle, including part loading and unloading, takes 1–7 minutes depending on the application. On average, Electrolytic Pulse Polishing of stainless steel to a mirror finish takes about 5 minutes.
The Electrolytic Pulse Polishing process removes burrs, cleans weld seams and heat tint, and performs final surface finishing. The surface quality of the part is improved by 2–4 classes.

Operating Conditions for EPP-16
The Electrolytic Pulse Polishing (EPP) equipment should preferably be installed on the ground or basement floor of the building, with a minimum total room area of 10 m².
The room intended for the equipment must be equipped with the following:
-
Cold water supply (hot water is not required);
-
Compressed air line;
-
Drainage system for removing washing and polishing residues (a common collector may be used);
-
Exhaust ventilation system;
-
Rinsing tank (metal or plastic) for washing parts after the Electrolytic Pulse Polishing process to remove any remaining solution.
The average power consumption during a 5-minute polishing cycle is approximately 0.5 kWh per dm²
To select the appropriate Plasma Polishing equipment with the required power, please provide the following information:
-
Dimensions of the parts to be processed (it is preferable to send us a drawing, sketch, or photographs of the parts).
-
Material from which the parts are made.
-
Desired result of the Plasma Electrolytic Polishing process — for example: mirror finish, edge rounding, burr removal, oxide/scale removal, weld seam cleaning, etc.
-
Quantity of parts to be polished per work shift, and the number of shifts per day.
